HOLDENBY HOUSE

James Lowther had been working with a neighbouring farm at his Holdenby House. Together they created their own Brut sparkling wine, and James approached me to create labels for the bottles.

When I visited Holdenby House it was March and a sea of daffodils had sprung up along the drive leading up to the house. The bright yellow reception I received upon arrival inspired me to use the colour for the label. The house itself was very impressive as it rose up on the horizon and the classic illustration style I used reflected the grandeur of the place.
